Welcome to our marketOur Market has been running for at least 18 years and in that time has seen many changes in its venue, and we have moved, renamed, reformed and reinvigorated our team and continue to do so. For 2020 we planned for SIX MARKETS, held at the Church of England grounds and hall, right next door to the Whittlesea Primary School, one of the schools that we fundraise for. Then along came Covid-19 and we were not able to run them. At this late stage in the year of 2020 the committee decided to cancel the remaining markets for 2020 with a plan to start afresh in March 2021. The exact dates is still to be determined. Apologies for any inconvenience. Our Market is called “LINK UP MARKET”. You will also find us on Facebook (link provided). All our promotion is under this name. For 2021, we invite stallholders to contact us, offering new and creative products. We are careful to restrict repeating merchandise to about two competing stalls, so it depends on what you are selling and who is in front of you in the queue. What Motivates... The funds raised from our markets contribute directly to the Whittlesea Chaplaincy Program for both Whittlesea Secondary College and Whittlesea Primary School. Our markets are supported by a team of volunteers from the community. Market stallholders who come to sell their wares join us as we 'link up' as one vibrant community. Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere that we provide for everyone .

2019 Market Memories |
Please pass the word around that this is a unique market with a lot of hand craft, and it is all good quality produce. The new venue will offer a greater variety of food stalls (outside). Some of the stalls were fundraising for their own charitable cause. We rely on a good representation from the locals of Whittlesea and surrounds to make it work. We appreciated the people who came along and hope they found exactly what they were looking for. Below is a collection of how some of the stall tables looked in 2019 (using a 'pan' camera function).

Our Location in Whittlesea
Site Map
The stallholder site locations will be allocated in the church hall, in the church courtyard and along the drive way and grassed areas between some of the trees depending on the type of stall. The main carpark will be reserved for the public only. The grey squares are planned stall locations, the larger rectangle shaped areas reserved for food-vans and children's entertainment. These are approximate positions. This is roughly how we hope to run it in 2021.
